twood Edwards Cattle Co. (formerly Consolidated Ranch Partners) is operated on the Atwood Ranch just 30 miles west of Fort Worth at Weatherford, Texas.

This ranch is the property of Tom Atwood, also a breeder of top cutting horses in California, who began raising registered Brahman and registered Hereford cattle in Weatherford in 1988. He began producing blue ribbon F-1's and 3\8x5\8 Brafords using his best Brahaman Hereford and Braford cattle. Tom was the breeder of Poll Cat (Mr AR Catalyst T3579), a powerful -breeding, polled bull that has become renowned throughout the Braford business.

Tim Edwards began producing 3\8x5\8 Brafords of top Brahman and Hereford genetics in 1990 in West Texas. After trying other breeds Tim was very impressed by the durability and performance of fullblood Brafords under the harsh, arid desert conditions of far West Texas.

By forming a partnership, Tom Atwood and Tim Edwards have combined two top Braford cow herds broadening each one genetically.

e raise Registered Braford cattle using the very best Brahman and Hereford genetics available. We produce all Braford percentages including Tiger Striped F-1s, 1/4 bloods, 3/4 bloods, and 3/8 x 5/8 fullblood Brafords.

Because of the successful Brahman, Hereford and Braford families that we have brought together, we can now offer, year-round cow/calf pairs, weaned calves, yearlings, females both bred or open, in any possible percentages with the best quality that any breeder could want. Through artificial insemination and embryo transfer, we can custom build cattle to create whatever genetics the breeder needs. We have bulls, females and semen available.

Brafords are known for superior maternal ability. Early puberty, fertility, calving ease, optimum milk production, and reproductive longevity have earned Brafords a distinguished reputation.
